Looking ahead, WIDE is excited to launch several upcoming projects aimed at furthering its mission:

Queercare programme roll-out: Extending the Queercare programme to a European level to provide comprehensive healthcare services to LGBTQ+ individuals.

Creating social queer hubs: Establishing “brave spaces” where LGBTQ+ individuals can gather, connect, and access resources in a supportive environment.

Euregional pride: Organising a pride event that celebrates diversity and promotes LGBTQ+ visibility across the Euregio Meuse-Rhine region.

Work visits: Facilitating exchanges and work visits between queer organisations to share best practices and foster collaboration.
Previous Activities
WIDE has been actively engaged in a variety of activities to promote diversity and inclusion within the LGBTQ+ community. Some of our previous activities include:

Information stand & participation in Aachen Pride: WIDE participated in Aachen Pride 2023, raising awareness about LGBTQ+ issues and promoting inclusivity.

Participation in Cologne Pride: WIDE joined the pride walk in Cologne 2023, showing solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and advocating for equality.

Working visits to Queer Centers: WIDE conducted working visits to youth queer centres in Geilenkirchen and Rainbow Aachen, fostering partnerships and sharing resources.

Visits to Regenbooghuis Limburg: WIDE visited Regenbooghuis Limburg, a local LGBTQ+ community centre, to learn about their programs and services.
