Join us for thoughtful discussion, community connection, lunch, and refreshments.
Our program explores the intersections of queer art, transnational mobility, and health crisis through an engaging reading discussion, research presentations, and a conversation with visual artist Jinxiao Zhou.
Together, we will delve into a reading on intimacy and queer artworks created during the COVID-19 pandemic, thinking with queer art studies about the evolving meanings of intimacy, displacement, and queerness today. We invite you to bring your knowledge of queer artworks or personal experiences during the pandemic for collective discussion and reflection.
